Family Time

We've had a busy few days seeing lots of family. On the weekend Daniel and I went to the coast. We stopped and saw Amanda, Nick Harrison and Benjamin. Amanda took some more portrait photos of Daniel. Daniel is also very interested in what the boys are doing and had fun with them on the floor.
Today we went and saw the newest addition to the family baby Brock who must be Daniel's second or third cousin?? (my cousin Jane's baby). Amanda and teh boys came up as well as Great Nana. Here is a photo of Great Nana with 5 of her greatgrandsons.
As I mentioned on the previous posts Daniel is rolling and he's a very big boy! At 5 months he weighed a hefty 8.4kg and a whopping 70cm long. I guess if he was short and skinny we would definately wonder if they gave us the right baby during the IVF!

Hi Hamish

Mel and Hamish popped in when we got home. Hamish had been busy in the kitchen and baked some cupcakes for us all.

Five months

While we were away Daniel began rolling, taking an interest in sucking his big toes and generally being more aware of his surroundings and interacting with them. The top photo was taken when he turned 5 months.

Out and About

We managed to see a few of Townsville's attractions. Here are photos from Castle Hill and from the Riverway. The weather was great although was a little rainy at the end of our stay. The days were warm and the nights cool.

Family Time

While in Townsville Daniel was able to spend time with his Grnadma and Granddad. Grandma liked to take Daniel for walks on the property while Granddad played the fiddle or the guitar and sang to him!
Daniel also got to meet Uncle Gilbert and Auntie Amy, as well as meeting Great Nana.

Townsville Trip

Daniel had no problems with flying, which was a blessing for us. He happily lazed back even managing a quick nap.

Countdown to Townsville

What a difference a few weeks makes, he's changing so much. We went to Wynnum the other week to have fish and chips with Kara and Tony, it was a beautiful day. Daniel enjoyed the fresh sea air and the people.
Daniel also enjoys his toys, especially putting every single one of them in his mouth.
Tomorrow we leave for Townsville to visit Grandma, Grand-dad, Gilbert and Amy. Daniel will also get to meet his great nana and great aunts and uncles. We hope that the flight will be a smooth one!
