Sitting pretty

Daniel is getting more capable of sitting, he's also itching to get move as well. I'm sure it won't be long.

Enjoying food

Daniel is really enjoying food now, not as messy as it was. We'll try some meat this week to go with the veggies he's mastered.

Feats of Strength

Daniel has found his muscles. Now when he sits in his rocker chair he does 'chin ups' against the toy bar, I don't think it was designed for that, he also can pull the toy bar right it to his face....... This photo is an action shot of him in the midst of a chin up.

Daniel goes to University

Yesterday Daniel and I took Shauna to the University of Queensland. While we were there we stopped in to see Christine at the Centre of Marine Studies. Daniel was more interested in the fake banana than the beautiful tank of coral and fish! We also cruised by the lakes and saw ducks, geese and Marshall's most unfavourite bird, the water hen. Unfortunately it was late in the day and we didn't see any turtles.

Food Glorious Food

In the past few weeks Daniel has started eating food, it started out a very messy job but he's slowly mastering it. This photo was taken in the early days.

6 MONTHS OLD

We just had 4 days at the coast. It was a great break, but very cold! Daniel decided he definately did not like Rockabilly music when we visited the wintersun festival with the Milnes. He is not a fan of Elvis..... what will I do?

Daniel is now 6 months old. As you can see he can sit supported and is finally slowing in his growth although he's now 9kilos and 70.5cm....... a very big boy!!!!

Nearly 6 Months old

I have been a little tardy in updating the blog. We have been busy. Last weekend girls from work cam eover and Rachel brought Jack for a visit. We also were able to see Harrison and Benjamin they both enjoyed giving Daniel hugs and kisses.
Next week Daniel will be 6 months old, quite amazing. We started some rice cereal and it is a messy job. Daniel is determined to blow raspberries the whole time while I am feeding him. I will try to get a photo at his next meal. He hasn't mastered rolling back off his tummy yet, I'll be happy when that happens. He's generally a really happy baby. He still has reflux, I have learnt that when going out I need to take two sets of cloths for both of us! He has stopped the medication and is now a 'Happy Chucker'.
