Ben's Birthday

Ben turned 3 on the 14th March. Daniel really enjoyed the party and playing with the cousins. Kate was spoilt by Aristea.

Daniel would really like for Kate to be a bit more adept at playing, he is encouraging her by filling her cot with toys. I do like the look on her face.......

How time flies!..

Here is Daniel then and now. He's a bit unwell at the moment so wanted to be "a baby boy", more so after he saw me wrap Kate after her bath. I can hardly believe this is the same child?

Where are the kids?

This morning Daniel decided to go to our bed for a little reading before going to Sonia's. He refers to our bed as the 'comfortable' bed. I am in the process of sorting through baby clothes in preparation for the upcoming baby and kids market. Kate's room has been over run, I really need to get it sorted.

Wildlife

We live right in the suburbs, only 15 minutes from the city but there is still alot of wildlife that visits our yard. At the back of our place are four huge gum trees. They are beautiful trees, home to possums, magpies and lorikeets. This week we have had a few extra visitors to the trees four kookaburras and two cockatoos. I didn't mange to get a photo of the kookaburras but the cockatoos hung around long enough for me to get a photo. We also had a green tree snake on the deck. I had to go and have a look to make sure it wasn't a brown snake. Marshall then assured me that poisonous snakes in Australia don't climb. The photo isn't that great, even though the snake is quite harmless I didn't want to get that close!
