Townsville Trip

Daniel had no problems with flying, which was a blessing for us. He happily lazed back even managing a quick nap.

Countdown to Townsville

What a difference a few weeks makes, he's changing so much. We went to Wynnum the other week to have fish and chips with Kara and Tony, it was a beautiful day. Daniel enjoyed the fresh sea air and the people.

Daniel also enjoys his toys, especially putting every single one of them in his mouth.

Tomorrow we leave for Townsville to visit Grandma, Grand-dad, Gilbert and Amy. Daniel will also get to meet his great nana and great aunts and uncles. We hope that the flight will be a smooth one!

Hair today, gone tomorrow.........

Daniel's hair.......what can I say! The top two pictures illustrate how strange his hair was looking. Today I finally did it and cut it off! The long bits on his crown and at his temples was not falling out, so they had to go. The new hair coming through seems to be blonde/light brown as you can see in the bottom two pictures.

Look at how big he's getting!!!! Since being on formula he's been putting on about 300g a week (making up for the early days when he wasn't getting enough).

Balding Baby at Last?

Many of you may know that I was very surprised to have had a baby with hair. I was sure I'd have a baldy baby. Well 19 weeks on it may just be happening. This last week hair has been coming out in clumps from the front to the back of his head. It's very much 'male pattern baldness'. Poppy kindly pointed out that Daniel looks like Norman Gunston, you be the judge.......

Another busy few weeks. We went to our mother's group last Wednesday at Jane's house, all the babies were there. On the weekend we went to the Henderson's for a lovely brunch.

Daniel continues to grow and he hit the 4 month mark last week. Since he has been weaned he is putting on weight and really filling out. I'd like to say that he's sleeping through the night but I can't. I generally get a call for a feed between 3-4am. Daniel's hair is again falling out. I think last time it fell out for a few days then stopped, now it's coming out in clumps! The longest hair on the crown of his head isn't moving, so he may end up with a very strange hairstyle indeed!

The Easter weekend was spent at the coast. Firstly we went to Amanda and Nick's and saw Benji, Harrison, Grandpa, Zara and Andrew. Harrison then drove to Cabarita with us to see Nana, Poppy and great Nana. We also had a visit from Auntie Janet and Marcia. Unfortunately for us the weather was bad, cool and rainy. It would have been nice for the rain to get to Brisbane but apparently it didn't.

Monday we visited Lara. Daniel decided to have a sleep on her couch.

A growing boy

Here is Daniel he's now 16 weeks, how the time has flown! As you can see he is getting chubby cheeks and his head control is pretty good too.

The latest thing this week is blowing raspberries. We were driving yesterday and that was the only sound coming from the back seat.

We've had a busy few days again. Shauna came for a visit on Monday and yesterday we went to the coast. Today great nana is coming over then on Friday we go back to the coast to Amanda's for hot cross buns with grandpa then down to nana and poppy's for the easter weekend. So busy!
