15 Months now

Hard to believe how quickly the time flies but it really does. I am now back at work 3 days a week, and Daniel goes to Family Day Care 2 days then has a day home with Marshall. Daniel continues to grow! He's now walking quite well and can manage the stairs up and down (crawling though), his latest 'trick' is trying to jump, it involves alot of bobbing up and down and just occassionally he'll get air....... He's got 6 teeth and his hair continues to grow like a weed!
These photos were taken recently one of Daniel with his foot in Clancy's water bucket and the other cruising the hippo around on the fire truck.

Playgroup

Daniel and I have started going to Playgroup on a Thursday. It's a lovely group. There's lots to do, we also get the chance to catch up regularly with Jane, Madelyn and Lachlan. Daniel's favourite place is the ball pit.

A new mower

Grandma and Grand-dad gave Daniel a new toy mower. So now he can help us out when we do the yard. It was a clothing optional afternoon for Daniel :)

Tamborine

We have Grandma and Grand-dad here for a week and a half. Saturday was incredibly hot in Brisbane, it reached 41 degrees. So we all decided it would be a good idea to head to Mt Tamborine for a picnic. Daniel had a wonderful time. He really didn't know what to think of the Scrub Turkeys, but soon decided they were ok and called them Gobi. As you can see he liked rubbing his hands and body through the red dirt!

The Mad Hatter

Grandpa bought Daniel this train driving cap, he discovered it the other week and loves to wear it around the house. Strange thing is he hates any other hat. Trying to get him to stay still and model was very difficult.

Southbank

Today we went to Southbank to watch Nana compete in a Dragon Boat race for Chinese New Year. Daniel had a lovely time, just a shame it was so hot. He really liked chasing the plover bird across the grass.
Nana had a rough time, at the end of their race they were hit by a wash from a ferry and all fell in, Mum was trapped under the water for a while and lots of the ladies lost their sunglasses and shoes. Luckily no one was injured.

Old habits die hard

Here is Daniel, he still enjoys suckinghis thumb (either will do) and twirling his hair with his other hand. Daniel is well and truly due for his next haircut, his last one was 5 weeks ago but it's growing quick!

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Daniel

Daniel's latest trick is to hide himself under the sheets on our bed, he thinks it's a great game. He also loves saying hi to Gobi in the mornings too.

Daniel Distaste for the Courier Mail

You can see the destruction behind him. This has become a weekend event. I read the paper, then Marshall reads the paper, then Daniel has a go. As Daddy lets him mess it up Daddy has to clean it up......
